Unconditional Love

Posted by Chantelle Hosner on September 26, 2015 at 12:25 AM

I had to unlike my daily wisdom page today. It was filled with things like don't waste your time on people who don't love you unconditionally, spend your time on people who are there for you. You can't be too nice or you will get taken advantage of.

The question is how can you expect to be loved unconditionally when you are not loving unconditionally?

You can be there for people who are not there for you. This is not going to hurt your life, I promise you.

Being the person who loves unconditionally will not mean that everyone will love you unconditionally, it means they don't need too.

Dropping conditions means they don't have to say certain things or make you feel good or do anything for you.

Drop the illusion that you need to watch your back, don't look for reason to dislike anyone. Look for reason to like everyone. And I promise you, you will find unconditional love.

You have more than enough love to give away and the more you give it without asking for it in return the more you will be given.

Whatever you want in your life, give it to others. Give without thinking it is a sacrifice on your part..

When you expect nothing, unconditional love comes from unexpected places. When you love others unconditionally, you learn to love yourself.

Namaste my friends, in unconditional love, Chantelle

Excellent points. I love this post. Its a tough lesson for some of us, (me). Once you've been hurt, it almost comes naturally to "watch your back" and advice the ones you love to do the same. I'm so thankful for the kind reminders that it really doesn't work that way, at least not for our highest good. We get back what we send and give out. So...here's some unconditional love right back at ya my friend and cheers to loving ourselves unconditionally. hugs
